The Need for Community

The need for community and sharing in the community is paramount to the ministries of Child Arise. When the widows get together, they have an opportunity to encourage one another through the word in their challenges and trials and to share together a meal. The widows are involved in Bible studies and active in their local churches. They also receive resources and food that sustains them throughout the month. Elizabeth does a good job in mentoring them and in providing the leadership and guidance to the organization. She also mentors and trains others who have the same calling to stand up and carry on with the ministry banner.
